Breakdowns don’t keep office hours, and neither do we. When your car or van stops, call us for a fixed price and an honest arrival time, then we’ll recover it to a garage, your home or wherever you need it.
When to call us
The engine won’t turn over, or it clicks and nothing happens
The vehicle has cut out and won’t restart
It’s overheating, or the temperature warning has come on
The clutch has gone, or you can’t select a gear
A warning light tells you to stop driving
You’ve put the wrong fuel in (don’t start the engine)
You’ve got a puncture and no usable spare or locking wheel nut key
No cover? No problem
You don’t need breakdown cover or a membership to use us. Many drivers find out their cover has lapsed, or doesn’t include the recovery they need, at the worst possible moment. We’ll simply quote for the job in front of us.
While you wait
Your safety comes first. If your vehicle is blocking a live lane or anyone is hurt, call 999.
Put your hazard lights on, and sidelights too if it’s dark or misty.
If it’s safe, get everyone out of the vehicle and away from the traffic, onto the pavement or behind a barrier.
Don’t try to repair the vehicle at the side of a busy road.

Questions about breakdown recovery
Do I need to be a member to use you?
No. There’s no membership and no sign-up. You call, we agree a price for the job, and you pay for that job only.
Can you fix my vehicle at the roadside?
If it’s a flat battery, we can usually jump start it on the spot. For most other faults, the safest and quickest option is to recover the vehicle to a garage, where it can be properly diagnosed and repaired.
I already have breakdown cover. Should I call you?
Call your provider first, as your cover may already include recovery. If they can’t reach you quickly, or the recovery you need isn’t covered, call us and we’ll give you a price.
Is it more expensive at night?
We’ll always tell you the full price before we set off, whatever the time. The price we agree on the phone is the price you pay.
